M.Tech Computational Biology

The M.Tech Computational Biology is a Full-Time Degree Programme at Anna University, supported by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India, New Delhi and it has commenced from the Academic year 2014-2015. It is a two year inter-disciplinary course with three semesters of course work and final semester Project Work.

Admission to the M.Tech Computational Biology course in the University Department was through the Common Entrance Examination for Computational Biology of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, conducted by Pondicherry University annually (2014-2019). The candidates admitted to the programme are eligible to receive scholarship as prescribed by DBT, Government of India.
